Golf

    Near Jindabyne there are three great golf courses. In Thredbo, the AGU rated 9 hole golf course is located alongside the Thredbo River at the bottom of the Kosciusko Express. Golf clubs and equipment can be hired and green fees purchased at Thredbo Sports located at the bottom of the Kosciuszko Express Chairlift or phone (02) 64594119 In Jindabyne, the nine hole course attached to the Sport and Recreation Centre on the Barry Way is a public course that the experts say is a really challenging course. Phone the club on 02 6456 1346 or just turn up and fill out the appropriate forms using their honour system. Just west of Berridale the Snowy Mountains Country Club is an eighteen hole course with long holes and spectacular views to the south along the escarpment. This course is shortly to be watered by the grey water from town which will ensure magnificent condition year round.
